The 2009 Day Under the Dome “Under Gathering Storm Clouds” Day Under the Dome 2009 is coming Wednesday, January 21 in a very different environment. This event is educational, fun and one of the most significant things we can do to protect our freedom to homeschool in Kansas as we give the Legislature and others a positive impression of the fruit our labors. Unlike the calm of years gone by, this year’s event occurs amidst a changing climate in our economy, government and even in the Kansas home education environment. With rumors of legislation and legal action, it is now even more important that we engage both new legislators as well as incumbents. A good turnout enhances CHECK’s other efforts to work with the Legislature and other elected officials.
