CHECK is a Kansas state homeschool organization comprised of local support groups around the state of Kansas including Kansas City’s Midwest Parent Educators (MPE), Wichita’s Kansas Home Educators (formally TPA), and others.
Unfortunately, we have had to CANCEL our planned March 24, 2020 Homeschool Capitol Day due to access restrictions at the Capitol related to the COVID-19 (Corona) virus. We hope to use all of our planning for an event next year.
Information concerning the 2020 homeschool conference (Wichita’s is rescheduled to July 17-18, 2020; note: the Kansas City conference was canceled) is on our Events page.
For more current news, see the CHECK’s Facebook page.
CHECK’s mission is to further the interests of private home education in Kansas by providing accurate, helpful information; encouraging local support groups; and advocating for home education. CHECK works closely with the Home School Legal Defense Association to protect our freedoms.
